One thing that helps is a better educated public on aspects of "eco ---" ie economy, ecology . Industry is often lumped into one category and paradigm- this is not right - different industry types have different needs . Primary / secondary/tertiary industry are treated in a similar way in Australia; This is too simplistic to be supportive of each's natural diversity .
Also ,the old definitions of chresmatics and oikonomia are helpful distinctions ( Cobb ) to think about, especially in building a bridge to the modern preocupations with ecology, and resisting the temptations to quick fix ( mutton dressed up as lamb)
